# Slack

At Jacidi, our tool for internal communication is **Slack**. Once you join the **Slack Jacidi Workspace**, you'll be able to connect with the entire team. Just a **Jacidi account** is required to join! Please install the **Desktop** and **Mobile versions**. Some tips to join:

**Desktop Version**

1. On your laptop, install **the Desktop version:** [https://slack.com/downloads](https://slack.com/downloads) (please avoid the web version!).
2. **Sign in** with the **enterprise email** (E.g., new.joiner@jacidi.com).
3. **Slack** sends you a **token** to your **enterprise email**.
4. Put this **token** on **Slack**.
5. Join the **Jacidi Workspace**.
6. In a pop-up, you'll see the option to open the **Slack App.** Open **Slack!**

**Mobile Version**

1. Install the **Slack app** on your cellphone as well. You can download it from the **Google Play Store** for **Android** and the **App Store** for **iOS.**
2. **Sign in** with the **enterprise email** (E.g., new.joiner@jacidi.com).
3. **Slack** sends you a **confirmation link** to your enterprise email.
4. Open your **Jacidi email** from your cellphone and click on the link to confirm your account.
5. It opens the **Slack App** automatically and loads the **Jacidi Workspace**.
